Curriculum Maps
It is our desire to share our Pre-K through 12 educational programs with the community and provide access to curriculum maps for courses taught in our district.
A curriculum map is a tool for organizing what Port Jefferson expects students to know and be able to do in each subject each year. A map is a broad outline that lists:
- the main topics: core concepts and processes that are the focus of the curricular unit,
- content: what we expect students to know as a result of the unit of instruction,
- NYS Learning Standards: links the unit of study to the appropriate standard(s)
