This year, the Earl L. Vandermeulen High School Student Organization raised awareness and funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation through an annual dodgeball tournament. Team up for Community has recognized their efforts and entered the student group into the Team Up for Community Long Island Spring Challenge for the chance to win one of the scholarships or grants provided by the challenge’s sponsors.
As part of the challenge, community members are being asked to vote online for a student group that they feel has made a large impact on the community. To vote for the Royals,
